Enthymo Privacy Policy 

The Enthymo application (further referred as “App”) is available as a mobile application (iOS and Android), and information regarding the application is available at www.enthymo.com.  This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by our website and mobile application and how we use it.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.

This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

By using our website and application, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

 

Information we collect

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

In order to login to the application, you need to provide User Name and Password which we will store for your future use.

Additionally, some information we will collect automatically, such as:

• In App behavior (clicks, frequently used chat categories, etc) in order to improve application performance
• Access/log-in and log-out time
• Length of time that you are logged in

Some information we will collect only in specific cases:

• In case of reports sent to our moderators for violating our Terms Of Use by other users, Chat Topics and last 5 exchanged direct messages will be sent to our moderator for further review.
• User device IP, location, cookies, geo-location data in case of need to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
• User device IP, location, cookies, geo-location data in case we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service or this Policy.
• In case of user getting banned from using the app due to violation of our Terms Of Use, once user try to login after the ban, device IP address will be collected to prevent further logins.

 

 

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our website and application
• Improve, personalize, and expand our website and application
• Understand and analyze how you use our website and application
• Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
• Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website and application, and for marketing and promotional purposes
• Find and prevent fraud

 

Content 

Chat topics and chat (text messages, pictures, audio messages) between users will be automatically deleted from the app frontend and hidden from users after 24 hours. Any time user who posted chat topic can delete it manually as well. Chat content (text messages, pictures, audio messages) between users can be also deleted manually using “Delete Chat” option.

You can delete content you have posted on the App. Content you delete will be hidden from other users.

After 30 days, chat topics and chat content (text messages, pictures, audio messages) will be deleted permanently from our servers as well. This is because we want to be sure to evaluate all possible violations of Terms Of Use, even in case content was deleted in the meantime and hidden from other users, and in case we need to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena, or other legal process.

 

Log Files

We follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

 

 

 

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Enthymo.com uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

We maintain the right to display both ours and 3^rd party advertisements.

 

Third Party Privacy Policies

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website or application, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records. If we find out that there are users under the age of 18 using our application, we are entitled to prevent these users from using the app.
